There are whole varieties of free tax advice resources at your disposal. The internet is a great place to start looking. Following are a few user-friendly sites. They all offer information for both your personal and business tax questions alike:
• ADVICE AOL’s Tax Advice section of their Money & Finance department is one place to look. It offers great tips and advice on everything from the procedures of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to US citizens living abroad. The service is free, easy to use and surprisingly thorough in its details. You can enter your zip code and find a local tax professional. No AOL membership is required.
• While WISEGEEK is not dedicated solely to finance or tax advice, this user-friendly site offers easy to understand answers to common questions. You can input a topic or question and your choice of answers and subtopics will come up. Wisegeek.com has good definitions for common business and personal tax terms. They also have many useful links to tax-related informational sites.
• If you look in Bankrate.com’s News & Advice section you will find a variety of resources for free tax advice. Here is the link for that information:
