My son the Combat Medic just got a change of orders. He is now going to Airborne school then his permanent duty station will be Germany. He loves winter sports and was asking me to look up some ski holidays in Italy for him and his wife. If you have the chance to ski Italy I did find quite a few that you may like. I told him he better get tons of pics. Here are some choices if you are heading that way.

If you are a beginner then you may be better heading to the slopes at Bormio, Bardonecchia, Livigno and Monterosa. More advanced skiers may prefer the exhilarating slopes from the Milky Way, Courmayeur and the Dolomites, which boasts the largest ski circuit in the world. Some of the benefits include the scenery, modern lifts, Ski passes, great shopping, tons of food and more.

Whatsoever you’re level of skill, or budget, a skiing holiday in Italy will have something to suit everyone. There is a range of lessons available at many  ski resorts and accommodation can be arranged from budget to luxurious ski lodges and villas.Skiing Holidays in Italy -

Fantabulous Après-ski  irrespective which of the Italian ski resorts you decide to choose, you can be guaranteed 1st class après-ski. Italy skiing is well acknowledged for its love of food and wine, both of which are hard to beat. Italian pizza, sausage, pasta, chocolate and home grown wine are mouth-watering options, and the atmosphere will always be friendly and welcoming. Away from the slopes there’s a range of activities available in and around the resorts including skating, swimming and sports. The nightlife will be second to none, with all-night bars, nightclubs, and parties where you are able to dance until dawn.

Skiing and food. My son’s two favorite things! What are yours?
